THIS IS YOU
As a Team Lead, you will serve as a vital link between management and frontline staff, ensuring effective communication, implementing strategies, and fostering a positive team environment. You will lead by example, providing guidance and support to Sales Associates while actively contributing to the achievement of sales targets and operational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate effectively with the sales team, conveying goals, expectations, and feedback from management.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Assist in training and onboarding new Sales Associates, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to Sales Associates, helping them to improve performance and achieve individual and team goals.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and organizing merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Act as a point of contact for Sales Associates, addressing questions, concerns, and escalations as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose.
- Assist in coordinating special events, promotions, and visual merchandising initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all operational standards and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the store.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail experience preferred, with a passion for art and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Education or training in art or design is a plus not a must.
