Junior HR Officer

Permanent employee, Full-time · Museum Barcelona

IN ART WE TRUST

Moco isn’t like any other museum. We started in Amsterdam, expanded to Barcelona, and after receiving +5 million visitors are now shaking things up in London. Our goal? To make art, fun, bold, and for everyone. At Moco, we showcase work by icons like Basquiat, Warhol, Kusama and street legends like Banksy, whose art challenges power and speaks to the people.

We celebrate the voices that are not always found in traditional museums, from the streets to the digital world and beyond. Our spaces are filled with immersive art, powerful messages and a playful spirit. We believe in breaking the rules, thinking differently, and making art that connects with real life. Our team is made up of curious, passionate people who love creativity, community, and doing things with heart. You don’t need to be an art expert, just open-minded, energetic, and ready to be part of something exciting.

THIS IS YOU

Do you have a passion for people and creating a strong, professional work culture? Are you  someone who understands the importance of discretion and integrity in the workplace, and  who is ready to take the next step in an HR career within a creative and fast-paced cultural  organization? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Junior HR Officer at the Moco Museum in Barcelona!

As our Junior HR Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily HR operations at our Barcelona Museum. You will act as the local liaison for Moco’s Headquarters, helping to ensure smooth HR processes are maintained across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and employee engagement. You’ll be exposed to confidential  matters and must be comfortable operating with sensitivity, neutrality, and professionalism at all times.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in HR operations while being closely supported  by the Moco HR Headquarters team. You will be trusted with confidential information and will need to demonstrate sound  judgment in always balancing the interests of employees with those of the organization. If  you know how to separate personal relationships from professional responsibilities and can  think critically about what is fair and aligned with company values, you might be the one we  are looking for. This role may not be for you if you find it difficult to maintain those  boundaries.
