THIS IS YOU

As a Facility Employee at Moco Museum, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the museum's physical spaces and ensuring a safe and inviting environment for visitors and staff. Working closely with the facility management team, your responsibilities will include performing cleaning and maintenance tasks, assisting with exhibition setups, and supporting day-to-day operations. Your dedication to upholding cleanliness and safety standards will contribute to an exceptional visitor experience at our museum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the museum premises, including exhibition areas, public spaces, offices, and facilities, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep standards are consistently met.
Art Preservation: Adhere to established guidelines and protocols for the cleaning and maintenance of artworks within the museum, ensuring their preservation and presentation meet the highest standards.
Facility Management: Conduct routine checks and maintenance tasks for museum facilities, including minor repairs and upkeep, to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Exhibition Assistance: Assist Technical Employees in the setup and maintenance of technical equipment for exhibitions and events, ensuring seamless operations and optimal visitor experience.
Space Optimization: Support the Facility Manager in space planning and utilization for exhibitions, events, and daily operations, ensuring spaces are efficiently utilized and optimized for visitor comfort and flow.
Safety and Security Oversight: Monitor visitor activities and maintain a safe and secure environment within the museum premises. Promptly report any safety concerns or potential hazards to the Facility Manager for resolution.
Vendor Coordination: Assist in coordinating with external vendors and suppliers for facility maintenance and services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of required services.
Event Support: Provide support for museum events and activities as needed, including setup, breakdown, and logistical support to ensure successful event execution.

REQUIREMENTS

1-2 years of experience in facility-related roles, with a focus on cleaning and maintenance.
Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and handling procedures.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adhere to established guidelines and protocols.
Strong ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with team members.
Passion for art and cultural institutions, with a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the museum's mission and visitor experience.
