We are seeking a full-time dedicated Marketing Manager with experience in the Industry of Tourism to lead our marketing initiatives in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to establish our presence in London, drive visitor numbers, increase brand awareness, and ensure our position as a major player in the UK arts scene.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to establish our presence in London, drive visitor numbers, increase brand awareness, and ensure our position as a major player in the UK arts scene.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing and media strategies to build brand awareness and drive visitor numbers for our London museum.

  • Collaborate with our international marketing team in Amsterdam to ensure a unified brand image and messaging across all locations.

  • Plan and manage events, press conferences, and other public relations activities in close cooperation with our PR agency.

  • Conduct market research to understand local trends and preferences, adjusting our strategies as necessary.

  • Oversee the production of all local marketing materials, including digital and print advertising.

  • Coordinate and promote brand activations and (brand) partnerships.

  • Build strategic partnerships with resellers and develop other sales opportunities

  • Manage the UK marketing budget, ensuring all campaigns deliver a strong ROI.

  • Regularly report on marketing KPIs to senior management.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial marketing role, specifically Tourism, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing & sales strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies is a must.

  • Excellent knowledge of the UK market and has a relevant local network.

  • Knowledge of and affinity with the art world.

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with a keen ability to re-prioritize on a consistent basis. Someone who’s not afraid to get your hands dirty.

  • Fluency in English is required
