THIS IS YOU

Moco Museum Amsterdam is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Employee to support our merchandise warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Employee, you will play an essential role in maintaining an efficient warehouse setup to meet the demands of our museum store. Your responsibilities will include replenishing sold items, ensuring proper storage, and facilitating the transportation of items to the museum store, including driving a van between the warehouse and the store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management: Regularly assess stock levels and ensure accurate recording of merchandise to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.

Replenishment: Promptly refill merchandise in the museum store as needed, ensuring shelves are adequately stocked.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and tidy warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and accessibility of items.

Order Preparation: Prepare merchandise for transportation to the museum store, ensuring items are packaged securely and ready for display.

Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections to ensure merchandise is in excellent condition before replenishment and transportation.

Driving: Safely operate a van to transport merchandise from the warehouse to the museum store.

Assistance: Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline operations and contribute to a productive work environment.

Communication: Maintain effective communication with relevant departments to ensure timely restocking, transportation of items, and van maintenance.

Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, contributing to the maintenance of a safe workspace and safe driving practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous Experience: Experience in warehouse operations or similar role is a plus, especially within a retail environment.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring items are prepared and presented in optimal condition.

Driving License: A valid driving license is required for operating the van between the warehouse and the store.

Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and organizing merchandise.

Flexibility: Openness to working on weekends, public holidays, and during special events when required.
